The fabrics representing the plagues follow a right to left order as Hebrew is written. This matzoh cover will fit boxed or schmurah matzoh. Originally, this string of plagues was created as a prompter for a learning disabled child who showed frustration that her non-disabled classmates had no trouble remembering the ten plagues in order. Marilyn created the TEN PLAGUE TOY, to assist her. There are ten squares, each with a fabric depicting one of the ten plagues. The underside of each square is matzoh-patterned fabric and they are joined, in order, by matzah fabric strings. Olivia is delighted, now that she can look at her string of plagues and remember them, and shout them out with her classmates in school, and with her siblings and cousins at the seder.
A Bubby with mainstream grandchildren took a TEN PLAGUE TOY to Israel for Pesach and the grandchildren, up to 8 years old, were delighted to play with this toy. They love the toy and carefully put it away for the next year.
